If you look at this blog ever, you know I am chomping at the bit to see solar power take off. Have you ever seen the thin film technologies that are developing ways to generate electricity from window film. Man, this is cool. You will be able to apply a tinted film to every piece of glass in your portfolio and have each building serve as a power generator. This is ancillary income. This is monetizing a portfolio. This is maximizing your investment. This may be a few years off, but it is coming. Keep an eye open and be ready.

In the mean time, what do you think the first heating bills of winter will do to your profit margins? Any indications yet?
