global warming

Welcome to the property management blog where we look at property management trends.
We are hearing a lot about global warming again. I understand Greenland’s glaciers are melting. I never could figure out why a snow and ice covered land would be called Greenland anyway.
I have an alternate theory for global warming. I looked at a map of the world in a recent National Geographic that shows the lights of the world at night. There are a hell of a lot of lights glowing every night. If you took the heat generated by all those lights and the heat generated by the air conditioners cooling the places burning lights in the warm weather and all the heat generated by all those buildings as they are kept warm in the cold weather, I bet you would create enough heat to warm the whole atmosphere of the earth a degree or two.
Is this a stupid theory? Probably not. You have all touched a hot light bulb once. Multiply that by how many ever billion lights there are burning on the planet and you get a lot of heat. Whole cities have created hot zones from their air conditioners, heaters and reflectivity of their concrete. Why not form their light bulbs? How about the heat form the cooling fans behind our PCs?
